| Duke Blue Devils |
| 03.04.04 (9:54 pm) [edit] |
|
This Sunday The Blue Devils take on there biggest rival the North Carolina Tar Heels. This is the biggest rivalry in college hoops. This rivalry has been around for almost as long as the teams have. Every contest between them turns out to be a great one, with alot of great plays and is usually a very close game. Many of the past games have been won in the last seconds and this one might too. I am going to definatly going to watch the game and if you are at all interested in college basketball you should definatly watch too.

| Tennis |
| 03.04.04 (9:51 pm) [edit] |
|
Just recently I have taken up the sport of Tennis. I never really saw myself as a tennis player but once I started playing I found that I really liked it. It is a very difficult sport to learn because you can get so frustrated when you can't get the ball to stay in bounds. But you learn to take it lightly and just have some fun. I am not that good yet but every time I go out there I get just a little bit better, hey you never know I might be playing Pete Sampras in a few weeks....HAHAHAHA yeah right, wake up Brad.

| LA Dodgers |
| 03.04.04 (9:48 pm) [edit] |
|
Last thursday morning me and my friend woke up at 4:30 in the morning and left the house at 5 to drive to Vero Beach, FL, which is on the east coast. We did this trip because in Vero Beach is the Los Angeles Dodgers spring training camp, called Dodger Town. Once we arrived we were anxious to see some of the players. Once they came out we got to see them practice. Once done with practice it was autograph time! I got so many autographs. One of my baseballs has 3 all stars on it and one of them was last years Cy young pitcher award winner, Eric Gagne. One the other ball I got a miscellaneous collection of players but on that ball I also got a 2 time hall of famer, Tommy Lasorda. He is in the hall of fame as both a player and a coach. He wasn't to nice about giving me a autograph but he just couldn't turn me down. What a great day at Dodger Town.

| ESPN Dream Job |
| 03.04.04 (9:42 pm) [edit] |
|
On ESPN there is this new show called Dream Job where people compete to earn a job as a sportscenter anchor. So far there has been two shows and they are pretty good. They hold different competitions to test the peoples ability to be an anchor, plus they test their sports knowledge, cuz you can't be a sportscenter anchor if ya don't know sports! They eliminate one person at the end of each show, so they have eliminate two people so far. And man I tell you what those two people SUCKED.

| Engineering Economy |
| 03.04.04 (9:38 pm) [edit] |
|
I am in a Engineering Economy class that is required for my engineering major. In the class we are doing tons of stuff that has to do with inversments and cash flows and such. What I don't understand is how this class differs from say accounting or regular economics. So far the classes has done nothing to constitute for a engineering specific class. Maybe this material will be cover in the weeks to come but until then I will continue calling it accounting class. :?

| CSA club |
| 03.04.04 (9:36 pm) [edit] |
|
One time in english class a long time ago we were reading the Tempest. While reading it this girl named Claire reached over to grab her coffee and spilled it all over her copy of the reading. The people at the table found this helarious but held in out laughs till the end of the period. While day dreaming I thought of a funny thing to say to here. "There is a CSA club meeting on friday if you wanna come and join." When she asked what CSA was I told her that it ment "Coffee Spillers of America" What a funny day.

| The new Mazda3 |
| 03.04.04 (9:32 pm) [edit] |
|
Mazda has just recently released its newest model car, the Mazda3. I consider it a very nice little sports sedan. It comes with a 4 cyl. engine, so it will be good on gas, but puts out decent power, so it can accelerate in traffic. They offer two different models: the 4 door, and the 5 door wagon. There are alot of neat features that are avaliable on the 5 door version including leather seats, and even a navigation system. When was the last time you saw a navigation system in a new car under $30,000?

| Downloading Music |
| 03.04.04 (9:28 pm) [edit] |
|
The ability to download music has became a big issue in the recent years. The record industry has really been hurt because of people downloading music instead of buying the CDs. There has been alot of recent acts done to help this issue, such as the return of Napster. Napster has return in a new and improved version where you can download songs but not for free. Now you can choose what songs you want and pay about a buck for each one. It is a nice way to be able to get only the songs that you want of the CDs but not doing it illegally.

| Chis Webber |
| 03.04.04 (9:23 pm) [edit] |
|
Chris Webber also plays for the Sacramento Kings. He has been out all season because of an injury. He has just recently return to the court. He has played two games since his return. Most people thought it was going to take him a while to get used to playing again but when Chis returned he wasn't messing around. He became the Kings leading scorer, not to mention the team leader. Chris sets the pase of the game and is a true precence on the court.

| Peja Stojakovic |
| 03.04.04 (9:21 pm) [edit] |
|
Peja is a player for the Sacramento Kings that has had one of his best seasons this year. He is averaging about 24 points a game. He is one of the biggest threats from outside the 3 point line. And what makes him even more of a threat is his ability to get open. Peja works his hardest all game long to break loose and get an open look. Plus him working so hard wears out his defense and even further greatens his ability to shake of the defense. What a great player!

| Sacramento Kings vs. Philadelphia 76ers |
| 03.04.04 (9:17 pm) [edit] |
|
I just watched the Kings vs. 76ers game and what a great game it was. The Kings came out of the first half with a decent lead. But in the second half the 76ers came back to tie it up. The Kings got back on the ball and took the lead again. The game ended in a 114-107 win for the Kings. Which is good because they are my favorite team. HAHA

| Fantasy Basketball |
| 03.04.04 (9:14 pm) [edit] |
|
Fantasy Basketball is a very neat thing that I suggest any basketball fan get into. At the beginning of the NBA season you get with friends of yours and hold a "draft". You go in order and choose players to play on your team. Once completed you go onto the yahoo fantasy sports webpage and set up the teams. You have a player for every position and you have bench players. You select who plays and who bench sits. Your score is figured out based on each players stats. You are ranked from 1-4 or 1-8 ,based on how many players are in your league, in each of the stats fields. ie. points, assists, steals, rebounds. So if you are interested in basketball I suggest you try it out next season.

| roommates TV |
| 03.04.04 (9:10 pm) [edit] |
|
Lately my roommate is having one of the weirdest problems with his TV that I think I have ever seen. He turns it on and in about 30 seconds it just turns itself off. Then if he tries to turn it right back on it just flashes on and goes back off. But if he lets it sit for like 5 mins and turns it back on it will stay on for about a minute and then do the same thing again. I have never seen this before. It is almost like it is over-heating. But can a TV over-heat?!!! I suggest he look into a warranty because he just recently purchased it.

| Blogging Issues |
| 03.04.04 (9:06 pm) [edit] |
|
Due to the unsuccessful attempts to login in to my blog account on blog-city I am forced to create a new blog site. I am very displeased with blog-city's service and I will continue using tBLOG from now on. It is unfortunate that I have to stop using blog-city because I really did like the setup there and there was alot of neat yet simple features.
